The Cohiba XV is the fuller-bodied extension of General Cigar's Dominican Cohiba brand. The filler blend (Nicaraguan ligero and Piloto Cubano ligero tobaccos) is encased in a three-year-aged Connecticut broadleaf binder and wrapped in choice Ecuador Sumatra leaf. Finished off with six months of aging in crates of fragrant cedar, this cigar matures into a smooth, bold, oily smoke definitely made with the serious fan of full-bodied cigars in mind. A limited-edition offering, shipments only arrive twice a year.
