CAMACHO TRIPLE MADURO
WRAPPER: Honduras BINDER: Honduras FILLER: Honduras
After nine months of blending five different maduro varieties, Christian Eiroa perfected the Camacho Triple Maduro—a cigar that is truly all maduro. While we know that these dark and delicious power-packed smokes are handmade in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras, and that the wrapper, binder, and filler are all maduro, the Eiroas have kept quiet about the exact makeup of this blend, which provides a well-balanced taste and even burn intermingled with intense, robust flavors of spicy sweetness. It starts out with a bang and mellows slightly as it burns, all the while maintaining its richness. Definitely a maduro-lover's fantasy come true, and a must-try for the seasoned cigar smoker looking for a deep, satisfying, full-bodied experience.

My new favorite cigar
Ive been smoking cigars for about 20 years. My go-to smokes have been: Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1 in Maduro, La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro, and the Arturo Fuente Hemmingway Short Story. I am considering giving some of these away to make room in my humidor for the Camacho Triple Maduro. Its simply that good. The wrapper was an even, oily dark brown color with no obvious repairs or blemishes, it lit evenly and drew without effort. The flavor was delightfully spicy without being hot and continued to evolve as I smoked it down. I had definite cocoa tones about midway and finished with a woodsy note. I received this cigar in a $20 four pack sampler from the JR store on route 77 in NC. I feel as if I stole that cigar. Good thing I burned the evidence. The other three cigars were pretty damn good too! On my next trip through, Im going to hug the lady that suggested I get the sampler.
