Harvested from one of the Connecticut River Valley’s most coveted crop years, the Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 cigar collection boasts a 13 year old Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper that looks just as elegant as it tastes.

This rare Macanudo cigar has a strikingly dark color and inherently fragrant taste that connoisseurs crave. The bold, oily wrapper holds a careful blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Brazilian long-fillers sheathed in a hearty Honduran binder that's been aged to absolute perfection. As soon as you light it up, you’ll notice a silky smooth cigar with a subtle spice that’s seamlessly balanced by a touch of unforgettable sweetness. Sophisticated, supremely rich and yet never overpowering, the Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 is a king among maduro cigars.

So why not wear a crown? The luxurious metal band doubles as a refined cigar holder and as a protective, moisture-control device to keep your Vintage extra-safe in the humidor. Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 is one of the most popular Vintage handmade cigars to date, so don't miss out! Grab a box or a single today from JR Cigars.

Holy smokes, I have smoked less than a dozen cigars. Been looking for one I would smoke day in day out, this would be the one, the aroma, grassy, chocolate, spice near the bottom 1/3. Others I smoke about halfway as there is something I dont care for, this Macanudo is excellent, It was a little tight and draw was slow yet consistent throughout entire length. The only down was it was on the dry side, either from shipping or my not having a humidor for three days,, and cracked the wrapper as I tried opening the cigar up a little., I hope that the ones I have left will recover in the humidor as I am looking forward to the next one.

Fragile but fantastic!
I found the construction of this cigar was good, but the wrapper was delicate and fragile. The draw was good and the flavor was excellent. Im not a fan of Macanudo by any means and will usually keep looking for something different if one suggests one, but my son picked this one out for the band and I had a couple samplers which lead to buying a box of 12 Toros.
