Featured Customer Reviews for MACANUDO MADURO VINTAGE 1997
Holy smokes, I have smoked less than a dozen cigars. Been looking for one I would smoke day in day out, this would be the one, the aroma, grassy, chocolate, spice near the bottom 1/3. Others I smoke about halfway as there is something I dont care for, this Macanudo is excellent, It was a little tight and draw was slow yet consistent throughout entire length. The only down was it was on the dry side, either from shipping or my not having a humidor for three days,, and cracked the wrapper as I tried opening the cigar up a little., I hope that the ones I have left will recover in the humidor as I am looking forward to the next one.
Fragile but fantastic!
I found the construction of this cigar was good, but the wrapper was delicate and fragile. The draw was good and the flavor was excellent. Im not a fan of Macanudo by any means and will usually keep looking for something different if one suggests one, but my son picked this one out for the band and I had a couple samplers which lead to buying a box of 12 Toros.
