WRAPPER: Ecuador BINDER: Dominican Republic FILLER: Dominican Republic/Nicaragua/Peru
The 1495 Series was created to pay tribute to the Dominican city of Santiago de los Caballeros, which Christopher Columbus founded in 1495. The city has since become home to some of today's finest Dominican tobaccos.
This series intermingles a robust, complex blend of aged Nicaraguan, Peruvian and Dominican Corojo and Ligero long filler tobaccos with a rich Nicaraguan binder and an attractive, savory Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper leaf to create one of the factory's greatest combinations to date. These medium to full bodied, well balanced smokes please the palate with smooth flavors of cream and spice and delight the nose with a sweet aroma.
