WRAPPER: Connecticut Broadleaf BINDER: USA FILLER: Dominican Republic/Honduras/Nicaragua/USA
Topper has been producing some of the most well-known cigars since1896. Originally the makers of Cuban long-filler handmade cigars, the company has only been crafting machine made stogies for the last 50 years. In 2013 they returned back to their roots and introduced Topper Handmade cigars. These medium-bodied, good-quality smokes are rich, flavorful, priced to please, and very aromatic. They’re rolled in Santiago, Dominican Republic with an aged blend of multination tobaccos (in between short and long fillers), a slightly spicy binder, and an eye-catching deep, dark Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper in square molds to give them the pressed look and feel. The wooden boxes of 30 they are packed in feature a distressed old-school look to pay tribute to the 120-year history of producing all-tobacco cigars.
