HENRY CLAY CERTIFIED VINTAGE
These rough-looking, medium-to-full-bodied Henry Clays were another great find in the cavernous cold rooms of Menendez y Garcia (a.k.a. Tabacalera de Garcia). While 13 is supposed to be an unlucky number, it was nothing of the sort in this case, as we were able to buy the factory's tasting samples from 13 previous years all in one shot, and every one of them sports a real spicy USA-grown Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Granted, time has mellowed them out considerably, but a finer cigar would be hard to find—and, of course, before too long, you won’t be able to find them at all because we think we’ve done our homework and uncovered just about every “real” old cigar there really is.
