As you can see from the pictures here, these cigars have French stuff written on all the box labels, and while I'm not sure exactly what those labels say, I assume that they are warning labels like we have in the United States telling people they will die a miserable death before they finish smoking the first cigar in the box.
Since I am obviously alive and writing this, I can tell you with absolute certainty that - Arrggh... this pain in my chest... I... I... I... am just kidding. This is absolutely one of the finest mild to medium bodied cigars I've ever smoked in my entire life.
These cigars (along with almost a million other cigars we bought) have been sitting in a warehouse in France for years. Why? Who knows? And who cares. No American is ever gonna understand the French mentality, but you still gotta hand it to them. When it comes to making croissants there's nobody better.
Fortunately, these cigars were not made by French bakers; they were made by experienced cigar rollers in the Dominican Republic. They have been aged for years and years and years in the same scientifically controlled humidors where Logista (the distributor for all Havana cigars in France) keeps all their tobacco products. As is the custom in most of Europe, these 5 inch Coronas are uncellophaned and truly a sight to behold for a real cigar junkie. Just breathing the air when you open the box will take the place of an entire canister of Viagra or Cialis.
The price of these cigars was 6.50 Euros in every licensed tobacco shop in France. I guess that equates to what? 8 American bucks? Your cost for these one-of-a-kind cigars is just $79.00 - a little more than 3 bucks each. Now, we could easily be pigs and sell them slowly for a lot more, but a) we're not that kind of people... and b) we've got almost another million aged cigars from France to offer in the coming weeks and months.
