In the 1400’s Dominican Taino Indians shared their native “Cohiba” cigars with Christopher Columbus. After nearly two decades of development, cigar master Daniel Núñez has created Cohiba Puro Dominicana - his first all Dominican cigar blend, as a tribute to the respected brand, his country, and the tobacco that he has so expertly cultivated throughout the years.

The tobacco leaves used for the wrapper, binder and filler are all grown from seeds planted in specific unrefined soil types in the Cibao and Northwestern regions of the island, carefully handpicked, and aged in tercios and charcoaled wooden barrels to enhance their natural essence.
